i. When will the school open?

The Wolsey Park School is currently under construction. It will have a phased opening beginning in 2027, staring with provision for primary-age learners at Wolsey Park Rayleigh. The secondary provision, Wolsey Park Woodham, will follow, aiming for a 2028 opening.

ii. How does my child get a place at the school?

We are so pleased you would like your child to be a part of this school! Admission to the school will be via the Local Authority. Please read the section 'How do I apply?' for more details.

iii. Where is the school?

The Wolsey Park School will consist of a primary and a secondary site. 

The site for primary-age learners will be in the newly developed Wolsey Park estate in Rayleigh. It will be known as Wolsey Park Rayleigh.

Provision for young people of secondary school age will be in South Woodham Ferrers, on the site that was previously home to Chetwood Primary School. It will be known as Wolsey Park Woodham.
