How do I apply?
Our first admissions are likely to be in summer 2027, with further places opening up in the subsequent terms and throughout 2028. Please do not try to apply just yet. We are still a few steps away from admitting young people but will keep this website updated. It is likely that we will identify our first learners towards the end of 2026, and continue throughout 2027.
For a pupil to be admitted, the school must be named by a local authority, in the pupil’s education health and care plan (EHCP). Parents wishing their children to attend The Wolsey Park School should first explore with their local authority if it would be appropriate, which would usually be through liaison with your SEND Operations Team. We understand that many parents would like to see a school and its community, as part of this important decision in choosing the right school. We are currently considering the best ways to give prospective parents an opportunity to gain an understanding of our ethos and vision. Information about these events and resources will be added to this site once confirmed.
The Local Authority then consults with our Headteacher on the proposed admission before naming the school on the pupil’s EHCP. For more information on this process please click here.
If, following consultation, it is agreed that Wolsey Park will be able to meet your child's needs and that there is an appropriate place available, and offer of a place may be made by the LA. Fantastic! We will then take time together to hear from you, in person, all about your child and what they need, as well as answering any questions you may have; a first step to getting your child's transition to The Wolsey Park School off to the best start.
For our very first learners, we will work with you to overcome the issue of limited access to the physical building. Following the opening of the school, we hope to support parental decision-making and strong transition through on-site visits.
